Hello everyone! My name is Jaidyn Riley and I'm the Host of the "Coming From a Sister" Podcast! This podcast's discussions will vary from discussing topics such as positive self-image, self-love, how to deal with rough days, friendships, hobbies, and even some ways to get involved in your community; all the way to, simply, just me just talking with some close people in my life about everyday things. Creating a space where it's healthy to talk about the things that are significant to us as people is what I want this podcast to pride itself on. After all, mental health, etc. is important to talk about, no matter how formal or informal the discussion may be. I hope everyone listening can find something to relate to when listening at one point or another. In this podcast, one of my main purposes is just to provide place of support, and an outlet for me to talk about things that are important to me. As long as we give topics/situations in our life (including ourselves, and our peers) the respect and time that they deserve, then hopefully thats when a lot of people will start to see good change in their lives! Some things on this podcast you may relate with, and some you may not. I hope that throughout the year of my creating these talks I cover as many things for you to relate to as I can, and for the things that you may not relate to as much, I hope I get to shine a new light on that subject area from a personal standpoint. I hope my sharing of these stories and or experiences can help someone out one day of their own. Learning, connecting, and sharing are what Coming From a Sister Podcast is founded on.
